Saturday, March 24, 2018. Umthis year is going by a lot quicker than I had anticipated! My friend Katie Grant and I went for a hike with her daughter Tessa. We checked out Kenneth Hahn Park.
We have had a busy week for courses. We ran our Design Course. Last weekend, which sparked great debate and produced some amazing models, as usual. We hope to get some images up shortly. We also had 28 students from Dromore West National School come along for the day on Thursday under the Heritage in Schools Programme. They got pretty mucky . just as kids should! The Natural Edge Wood Course. In April has sold out. There will be another one running in October.
There is a wealth of beauty around Sligo coast and we can take you to see the many historic sights in Sligo Bay including the Metal Man, Oyster and Blackrock lighthouse, the 17th Century Beach Bar and the 6th century monastic settleme.
